Den. speciosum feeding schedule?

My speciosum is finally spiking for the first time. Looks like there will be 4-5 canes worth.

Mine came from SB Orchid Estate about 6 years ago and is potted in granite chips. I grow in a 60% shade house in the Florida Keys which is obviously subtropical so our orchids are in "grow" mode darn near year round.

I reduce watering it and completely eliminate feeding around Dec 1. By reducing water I mean the occasional natural quick shower (maybe 1-2x/month) and a good soaking from me every other week.

My question is, when is the proper time to resume water and feeding? Bud spike? Flowering? Post flowering? Our normal "wet season" doesn't typically start until May.
