Default Portable showers for indoor watering?

I'm currently building and rethinking my cabinet system for my orchids.

As my collection has grown and I currently have 18 orchids which I water two to three times a week, some even daily, and having most of my orchids in either Semi/hydro or in baskets with bark, I have to bring my plants to the sink for watering. At 18 orchids it's starting to get to the point of "tedious."

I've been looking at ideas to build a cabinet system with drainage, placing the orchids on trays and drilling a pipe into the trays that dumps all excess water into a bucket.

I live in dry Los Angeles and I like to keep my plants close together which I've noticed increases humidity in the little biome that I've provided for them. But I find a need for a wand to reach to all of the orchids.

I've seen many people using classic pressure sprayers to water like this one Amazon.com

There are other models on the market that seem to be designed for higher flows, like this: Amazon.com

However, I feel like these are mostly meant for spraying and if you read the reviews for the CLICIC sprayer most say that the water pressure is disappointing or they have to keep constantly pumping the sprayers.

If you keep your plants in tight Sphagnum, these pump sprayers might be fine. But what if I want to have the constant flow of a hose in an indoor setting? So I can really drench every single one of my plants the way that I like to do it.

Well, I found these "portable showers" Amazon.com

They are basically water pumps in which you can put one end into a bucket to pump the water out. Adding a bonsai wand on the other end like this one could make the trick to find my "perfect indoor watering" system: Amazon.com

Bonsai wand: Amazon.com

I can carry a bucket around or get a backpack-type tank and have all my fertilizer and additives pre-mix, then just simply water plant to plant...

Has anyone tried something like this? I would be very curious to hear what your experience has been.

Have a glance at these two threads. WW removed the album with photos that were in the first thread but the text is pretty clear.

Consider using a recoil hose with a watering wand/nozzle at the end. They come in models that can stretch to 25' and 50'.
