Hey guys
I live in Miami
Its kind of annoying that the only wild orchid i can find is Eulophi graminea, and it is absolutely everywhere. By the way my Eulophia graminea is stillllll flowering. i made a post a couple of months ago about it.

Does anybody know where you can find wild butterfly orchids - Encyclia Tampesis near miami, such as park with old oak trees. I have been searching on google earth for hours for good habitats but nothing good has came up. I feel like miami has done a bad job protecting natural hardwood hammocks. I dont really feel like trecking hours to the fakahacheee strant just to get eaten.

Please Help Me

Good luck. Miami has done a horrible job of protecting everything

Go to Fairchild and enjoy seeing awesome plants

Go to some of the old spots in the Redlands

I have found that if you tell yourself you are looking for tillys and then you luck into and orchid it is much better for the psyche than just not finding orchids lol

Also, the Everglades Is not far. The stand is 1 hour and 35 minutes from you if you are still on the beach....

just shoot over the causeway to 95, take that to 836, go all the way west to 127 ave then get on tamiami trail
