All three tanks were here when we bought the house about 3 years ago! The well is dry, so I assume that's why the previous owners put in the 20,000 gallon catchment from the roof. We bring in drinking water, but the house is powered by rainwater. I'm still not sure why they added a 2,500 gallon catchment on a large (giant?) shed where they fixed up old Mustangs. In any case, its more water than my collection needs so I keep adding raised bed gardens! lol

Every water utility in the US (I think EU also) is required to post a water quality report annually. You can find it on your utility's Web site. Municipal water in the US tends to be very alkaline to prevent acidic water from eroding pipes, and picking up metals that are much less soluble in alkaline water.
Phelsumas are fragile and don't ship well.

WW - I mean that the potting medium must be compatible with watering often, whether that be an inorganic medium like LECA, pumice or scoria, or a very coarse bark - anything with large inter-particle gaps.

Here's one of the two 10,000 gallon tanks I have. Those tomatoes are too tall for me to reach the top when I'm standing on the raised bed.
