Did the Orchid Board cause this resource shortage?

First toilet paper now this?
I talked with someone at Marlow Orchids yesterday. He acknowledged that we cleaned them out of the podangis, but said they'll be getting more of them. So check back if you can't find it elsewhere.

This little orchid has big impact. I also have been planning for its arrival. I have a little wardian case for my minis that need high humidity -- all 4 of them. I was planning on adding podangis to the case, but when I remembered my recent order from Ecuagenera I realized I'm out of room.

So, all thanks to podangis envy, I ordered a 36x18x36 terrarium today. It's going to be a rainforest terrarium with all the bells and whistles. It was podangis who sent me off the deep end. I'm SO excited!

Just got my invoice and it looks like I'm in luck. The Podangis is on there! Will report back when it's received.

I'm starting to rethink buying a second Podangis. I think I need to buy a second AND a third one!

I was just looking at my orchids, as I tend to frequently do when I get back from work, and saw that my current plant, bought early last year, has THREE spikes! On ONE fan!

OK... I'm jealous. I see just a bit of activity starting. Not sure if it will be a spike or another fan, I'd be happy with either. But my "backup" is on the way.

Wish I could send you one, there are at least 6 european vendors which carry this orchid. Hope you'll find one someplace else. Maybe try emailing Andy's Orchids to see if they don't have one laying around in the greenhouse?

MJG says that Marlow has some more on the way.
Cal Orchid usually had it at shows... but with no shows I expect that they - and others as well - cut 'way back on what they were ordering.

Gold Country? Not sure, Keysguy mentioned vendor on west coast by not by name, that had noted a run on them. (Gold Country is not exactly "coast" so maybe not them, but they are in California)
