Orchid Societies - read up !

Orchid Clubs/Societies,

I could do something really cool for your orchid club. I can make a Category ie: "XYZ Orchid Club". This category would be at the very top of OrchidBoard forum and would only be visible to your club members once they log in.

None of the other board members would be able to see this forum, unless they would also be members of your society. In addition you could moderate that section of the board yourself. You could discuss local and internal club business without worries that non members are looking on.

By using OrchidBoard, you could come to one place and talk orchids and do your club business at the same time !

Please make sure there is quite a few of you though. I'd hate to make club categories where only the club moderator posts.

My name is Jeannette Schneider and I am currently the SEPOS Newsletter Editor and Membership Secretary of my Society. That's great to hear! Like Tindomul said, a lot of work went into it. I'm glad you like it. Posts like this make it very much worth while - it's nice to see that someone appreciates it!

If you get a lot of members from your society to join, I can make a private forum for you guys here to discuss your society business. This would be just for your members.

I'll definitely be putting this in the Members of the Orchid Society of Coral Gables and the Coalition of Orchid Species newsletters. Both clubs have definitly expressed an interest.
