Default Guests Please Register

I just noticed I was the only registered member logged on but 9 guests. I know I was reluctant at first to register. But, really, there are benefits to registering! First of all, we know who is attending. Second, you get to interact with some of the finest folk around growing orchids and experimenting with new techniques and methods. I am not connected with this board in any way other than as a member since this fall. I have learned more than I can possibly immagine. And I have had a ball interacting with fellow orchid growers. Sign up and have a ball!

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Thank you, Ross

Hopefully, your post will get some of our guests to become members. The first time I came to this board, I was registering within minutes...and I have not regretted a moment of it.

This board has some of the friendliest, most knowledgeable people I've "met" and like you, this board has taught me so much of what I now know. Everybody here is considered a friend and as friends, we are all more than willing to share what we've learned with other orchid-growers.

Registration is free and there is no down-side to becoming a member on OrchidBoard.

By the way, Ross...you've contributed as much to the board as you've absorbed by being here...thanks

I agree, you should all join up. I too was very skeptical of forums for a long time, and this is THE ONE forum that has gotten me the most involved. It has even inspired me to make my own forum, even if I really can't. So, hurry up and join, or you'll miss the fun...fun...fun!

I agree with everything that's been said above. However...sometimes people will appear as guests, even after they've registered, because they just haven't signed in yet (or if they're just coming in for a sneak peek).

so, real guests, please register, and fake guests...sign in!
