Purchased this large container in advance for a large rapidly growing Catt. that will need a new home next spring. I plan to fill the long base with styro peanuts or pebbles as it is too deep.
Last year I was forced to repot a large Catt. and had a hard time finding a large enough pot that was appropriate for orchids. Finally found a ceramic woven lattice design pot and lined it with fiber to prevent loss of potting medium. So far, so good. The Catt. is thriving. I hope I didn't make the wrong decision.
