Default Dend carronii

This is one of my few true minis. I was at H&R yesterday (as I always am when the catalog comes out!!) and I was blown away by what a cool little plant this was. The flowers are bright and I'm going to try to cross this with my Dend atroviolacium and Dend johnsoniae when it blooms this week. Unfortunately, Roy Tokunaga (the "R" of H&R) said it probably wouldn't "take" because the sections of the these plants are too far apart but that I should try anyway! We'll see! Maybe I'll have the first cross between these guys. Who knows. This guys is so small (as you can see by the pen reference pic) that my little point and shoot camera found it almost impossible to focus in on such a small target when I was zooming in. I got a few good ones though!
