So who else is going? I might go, but not sure yet since I just went to London this weekend to visit friends.

Just a word of warning for those non UK europeans flying into London using low cost companies (I flew Easyjet ) that are couting on bringing back orchids. To go, these companies will tolerate a second piece of hand luggage if its small. To come back however, they are really strict about the 1 piece rule. I bought some small non orchid plants in London and they refused to let me go through security until I had somehow stuffed the poor things into my already full travel bag! They are a wreck now.Poor babies. So if I go, I'll check in my bag this time and have the orchids as hand luggage.

This was at Gatwick airport, I don't know if it's the same at Stanstead and Luton. I don't think it's a problem with the normal companies like British Airways. In my flying experience, these companies can be more lenient on hand baggage. I once flew with a backpack, purse, PC, and plants with no problems on Air France.
