Default aging/temperature and flower patterns

i've heard that temperature influences the flower count but do it also affect the strength of the patternings on the flower? eg. cornu-cervi can be blotchy or sharp distinct strips and patterns due to individual genetics. but will temperature change the blotchiness to a sharp pattern (for example). will age also improve so that the blotchiness will sharpen up?
