Dens do really well for us, Cheryl, and I think Tindomul hit it on the head when he said his gets a lot of light. We have a GH and most of our Dens are hanging near the roof with about 70% sunlight transfer or are sitting on the Catt bench with about 50% light transfer. I'd be careful of direct, unprotected sunlight but I'd sure try to increase the light exposure. We saw on the
AOS Forum several months ago where someone said that Dens did better with low Nitrogen fertilizers. So, we have only been using Bloom Booster fertilizer on our Dens for several months now and they are really doing better than they have ever done. For us, that seems to be working but I have no info on the Nitrogen content of frog poop.
