Update I went to see the ghost orchid and I cant tell you how happy I am to be able to witness a extraordinary plant in person.
I was told that the flower will only be there for about a week and 1 has already bit the dust. I was able to get a couple of pictures from my camera
but only when I held it up to the lens of binoculars, not the best pictures. There is a worker at the site with a spotting scope for everyone to see it up close. In the gift shop they already had note cards and matted picture for sale from $9.00 for note cards (4) and $85.00 for a 8x10 matted pic. wow they don't waste any time. I will have to keep this one in mind next year. By the way the plant is pretty safe from theft, they have patrols in the area.
