Patricia, the person that helped me is Karen. Her email address is
KJSchae1@aol.com. I remember her saying she won't be at the next meeting because she's going to go on vacation but shooting her an email is worth a shot. If Karen doesn't respond to you you can always come in to sit in. I'm sure it'll be ok. That's what i did the first time.
Susanne's right, Rockville Center is near the border of queens and nassau so it can be very close depending where in queens you live. I take the southern state to exit 19 to get there. From the exit I'd say it takes no longer than 10 minutes to get to the place.
If there Rockville Center is to far there's also one in Manhattan
