This site is great. Anyhow, I got the plant about 4-5 months ago, it did not have that leaf at the time. It was in bloom. That new crazy leaf grew out, the blooms faded, I cut the spike back, and now, as you can see, it's already spiking again!! No herbicides that I gave it anyhow, and I turn my plants all the time as I like leaves and spikes to grow in the right directions. I'm not really worried, just curious. Must have been something the vendor did right before I got it.
