Den. stratiotes and Den. antennatum are both warm to hot growers. Therefore, in tropical areas, they do flower all year round.
I own Den. antennatum which is an easy plant to grow, but when the cold fronts hit(usually less than 12°C), i have to move them into my house to avoid damages.
