Hi Steve, mine is in a 31/2 in plastic pot, the medium is fir bark and is placed with my cattleyas, so is receiving a lot of light. Is the second time that is blooming in 6 months, I hope yours bloom soon.
Tricho the Cuitlauzina have to have a rest period, in the winter and spring time. Durin this period you dont water or fertilizer your plant until st start forming the inflorecences, when they are about 5 cm long you can reiniciate the watering and the fertilizer. Allways remembering to have the plant and a humid place (60%-80%).
Very nice story Susanne, Im happy to know that a mexican orchid have you hook in to this glorious hobby.
