Presuming you have a 12 volt fan (forgot to check earlier posts) you can slow it down a bit by adding a filter layer taped to fan. Try a thin layer of open foam (1/8" or so or a small chunk of gauze curtain like they use in windows) to the tank-side of the fan. That will reduce the air pull a bit. Should increase humidity as well. Differences you see are due to "relative humidity" - warm air (day time) holds more moisture than cool air (night time). Mine does same thing.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
