Will try to take some pics later to show you some of mine. The buds on the nobiles form along notches on the canes. Some of mine are actually starting to spike but I could not get a clear enough pic. In any case they are just emerging. On the phal type dens..no rest required..the flower spike emerges from space at top of leaf. Same on my kingianum. Can you post pics of the dens in question??
