they frequently do shows around the world, so you might be able to ask them to bring specific plants to the show, and let them handle the import. Their next 2 shows in the US are the
San Francisco orchid show (Sep. 12-13) and the
Miami Aroid show (Sep. 20-21 - not sure they'll bring orchids to this one, but it couldn't hurt to ask).
Also, if I remember correctly,
Hawk Hill orchids imports plants from Ecuagenera, so you might want to try contacting them.
