I have three of these - one on cork and two on blocks of osmunda. One (the smallest) is a Keiki from one of the others. It has never bloomed and isn't going to bloom this year either. The other two bloom every year around March-April for me. Here is one of the bloomers (the Cork mounted one I think)

It does have a pleasant smell, but I'm not sure I'd call it strawberries. The other larger plant also has an odor and it's sort of like burning plastic

So my advice to anyone considering this plant - go for it, but be prepared they don't all smell the same or act the same. And one person's successes with anything Dendro-related may not be yours. Good luck.
Almost forgot D. anosmum and D. superbum are synonums.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
