The family emergency is all better. My Dad got into a skiing accident and broke several ribs, punctured a lung, fractured his pelvis and shattered a thumb
I went to get him from the hospital, they kept him for 6 days and he stayed with us for 3 weeks until he felt able to get around and take care of himself again. He's recovering incredibly fast. The irony... he has been on the ski patrol for over 20 years and is an excellent skier!
As for finals... they are over, but not exactly the grades I was hoping for
Oh well, under the circumstances I shouldn't complain!
Now it's time for some good old fashioned Christmas spirit. Now I've got 4 weeks off, and we'll see if I can resist endless orchid shopping....
