Default OK, I'm closing in on the final specs

As I have posted in a few terrarium threads, I am designing my first orchidarium (no frogs as of now). I have the initial drawings done (autocad) and requests for quotes out. Size is to be 48" long x 18" wide x 36" tall. It will be all acrylic and the only opening will be the door area (front of tank). Of course I will cut holes for the misting system and fans (ventilation). It's going to be utilitarian in that I don't plan fancy backgrounds, etc (at this time). I'll be using 48" T5 4-tube light bank with riser system, Mist-King misting system, 3.5" fans (2 each) and everything will be temperature controlled in my basement. I am monitoring temps and humidity in the room where this will be located and it stays about 63F during day and 60F at night without the lights. I figure the light bank will add several degrees when it switches on. Of course I will document progress when it all starts to happen. In mean time I am retrofitting a 30 gallon aquarium to test my proposed system.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
