I put an aquarium thermometer in there for a few hours today, it started at 78 and went up 81-82 and seems to be staying there. I'd expect the night temp to be 72-75, since thats what the house is. I've grown alot of plants 1-3" from lower watt bulbs before and never had a heat issue.
