I always dunk (soak) the mounts upstairs (non Orchidarium) but the ones downstairs (orchidarium) get soaked via a hand sprayer. I got a batch of Shore Flies started downstairs in orchidarium from one of the plants and now I no longer submerge them. The upstairs guys are pretty dry most of the time and don't have bugs.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
